Little Aggie

Here are some more recent pics. Last night was the first night that he slept 5 hours. We'll see if it lasts. I'm back at work part time and enjoying having a reason to get out of the house every morning.

The coup is still going and there are a lot of protests, but they are relatively peaceful ones. Of course, Bryan is working alot because of the coup and its driving me crazy, but we are doing good.

Return home to Honduras

Grandma Weddle returned to Honduras with us so that I could have some help on the trip home.

She stayed for 5 days which was plenty of time to do her favorite activity, bath the baby, many times. There was a coup the day we arrived in Honduras so that was interesting. We have limited our travel outside the house a lot because of the riots, but overall its still safe if you are smart and don't go the wrong areas. Just so happens Bryan is an expert on keeping us safe so I'm in good hands.

Meeting the family

Bryan's family including Stacey (his sister in the pink shirt) and her daughter, Jordyn, came up from Houston and College Station. We also had a get together with my cousins on my dad's side. My second cousin Tiffany is holding the baby in the middle picture and her fiance, Mignon, is beside her. Bryan's parents are in the first picture.

Marshall has arrived!

Our long awaited bundle arrived on 5/11 at 2:51 in the afternoon. He was 6 lbs. 12 oz. and 21 inches long. The delivery was very easy. Bryan, my mom, and my sister were all in attendance and it was a great memory for everyone. Welcome Marshall!

Baby Shower

Kim and Liza threw me a baby shower for Marshall. It was so fun. Instead of getting a bunch of necessities, I got all fun stuff this time. The cake was so adorable. Everyone had a great time. It was really sweet. There are a lot of wonderful women here.

Col Sanders

After the easter egg hunt, we went to KFC and Christian made friends with Col Sanders. Then we went to the new carousel in this outdoor shopping center nearby. We nicknamed it the death carousel because it went pretty fast for little kids.

Easter Egg Hunt

The embassy had their easter egg hunt yesterday and Christian was thoroughly disgusted with the Easter Bunny, but did participate in the hunt. He collected about 6 eggs and then decided to sit down in the parking lot and open them all and proceed to give them away to his little friend, Julianna. A good time was had by all.

Home birthday celebration

We couldn't get Christian to wear a party hat and he didn't want the candle on his piece of cake but he did pose for the picture so I was happy. Dixie got in on the fun too!

2nd birthday

Well, we had Christian's second birthday. They do birthday's at school here, which was really nice. We brought a cake, pinata, and all the decorations. He was actually very fussy the whole time, but the other kids loved the pinata and he enjoyed hitting it too. However, since they are all 2 or 3 years old, it would have taken a year if we had waited for them to destroy it so eventually Elena, his teacher, tore it open and all the kids came running to the candy. They were so cute! We may try to get a better birthday picture tonight with mom, dad, and birthday boy if he is less fussy.

Mardi Gras Party

I'm in the back row, second from the right. The Marine's threw a Mardi Gras party that was a lot of fun. The marine detachment has 7 guys that are assigned to protect the embassy and they all live together in sort of a frat house. They throw parties from time to time to raise money for the Marine Ball.

Photos

I work with a lady whose husband is a local photographer and she asked me to pose for some photos so they could put them on their website. They took like 500 pics but these are a few of the ones they liked best.

Nightly routine

Bryan reads Christian a story every night. Its part of his nightly routine. So sweet!

Valentine's Day

We went to one of the local hotels for Valentine's Day. Our church hosted a huge dinner. It was very pretty. You can't see my belly very well but I'll try to put one on that shows it more.

Haircut

We took Christian to get a dreaded haircut at this barber shop in the mall. It was hilarious because normally he is terrible for a haircut, but this guy took charge and put his hand on Christian's head and controlled him. He was an angel.

Cascadas Mall

We take Christian to Cascadas Mall pretty often because they have a carousel and a train that goes around the mall. They also have a bunch of rides that are around a quarter per ride. Much cheaper than in the states. He loves it.

Farmer's Market

We took Bryan's parents to the Farmer's Market and they thought that was so fun. It is every Friday and Saturday morning and I try to go every week. The fruits and veggies are dirt cheap and usually delicious. They got to practice their spanish and Bryan's dad made his famous veggie stew from his findings at the market. Yum!

Maria and Christian

Bryan's parents really enjoyed getting to know Maria and they took this cute pic. She is such a blessing. They were really sweet to her and took her shopping to get a new outfit. She had so much fun.
